The Vitamin Chart |
Vitamins are essential for proper body function, growth, energy production and overall health. While the human body is able to produce some of its own vitamins, vitamin D for example, the majority must be obtained from diet and/or supplements.
This chart breaks down the function of each vitamin and symptoms of excess intake as well as deficiency. |

The Top 10 Vitamins for Athletes |
One of the most confusing issues for any athlete is supplementation. What to take, how much, when to take it, blah, blah, blah. Figuring out a supplementation regimen can be so frustrating at times that it becomes easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees, to forget the purpose of supplementation and to overlook exactly what makes successful bodybuilding. |

Mixed Martial Arts Fundamentals |
Here's something I've been working on, a friend of a friend is getting ready for his first NHB fight and he's a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt, and my buddy is going to be training with him on his lunch breaks. All I know about him is what my friend told me which is that he's got a good BJJ game and a little striking training so this is geared towards someone with that background. I'm glad he asked me for some notes and drills and I doubt he thought I'd be this long but I've been meaning to put some stuff together myself, so check it out and tell me what you think, this is only the 2nd draft of probably 120 |

The Thai Boxing Workout: A Scientific Approach |
Thai-boxing, the national sport of Thailand, is perhaps the most brutal sport in existence. Participants batter each other with punches, kicks, knees and elbows. There are few rules in Thai-boxing and boils down to survival of the fittest. A match consists of five, three minute rounds. Punching, knee and elbow strikes and kicking techniques are allowed to any part of the body, except the groin. Because of the hard, fast paced action, it is very important for the fighters to be highly conditioned, both physically and mentally. |

Muay Thai Combinations |
Here are just a few of my favorite combinations, Give them a try and remember unless you're over 7 feet tall, and 300 lbs then most times you're going to need to throw combinations, especially if you run into another 7 foot monster. |
